Founded in 1947, ProValue Insurance has grown to become one of the largest leading independent insurance agencies providing business risk protection and personal insurance coverages in the state of Kansas and throughout Mid-America.

  • 1947

    Kansas Farmers Service Association was incorporated under the laws of Kansas in 1947. The association was organized to provide insurance and auditing, taxation, and patronage, and by-law services for all types of cooperatives.

  • 1972

    25th (Silver) Anniversary. Services were expanded to include all types of insurance for cooperatives, employees, and members of cooperatives, offering pension plans, group life, and insurance coverages.

  • 1991

    Risk Management services, now known as Safety & Compliance, were introduced to customers.

  • 1997

    KFSA celebrated its 50th (Golden) Anniversary.

  • 1999

    Ag Services, LLC was established as an expansion of KFSA's Risk Management services (now known as ProValue | Safety & Compliance).

    The company is led by a 5-member board and managed by KFSA.

  • 2002

    KFSA's main office was relocated to it's current location in Hutchinson, KS.

  • 2003

    Rural Insurance Services of Kansas (RISK) was licensed and contracted through Elliot Insurance in Hutchinson, KS. This was the beginning of KFSA's farm insurance program.

  • 2004

    KFSA and Lindburg & Vogel (now Lindburg Vogel Pierce Faris, Chartered) joined together to create ProValue, LLC, a company focused on providing their common clients with business services such as assistance with mergers and acquisitions, feasibility studies and strategic planning.

  • 2005

    KFSA purchased Elliott Insurance, located in Hutchinson, KS, expanding it's insurance services to include personal products such as home, auto and life.

  • 2012

    KFSA purchased Rutter Cline Associates (RCA) based out of Garden City, KS.

  • 2015

    ProValue, LLC, the human resource, payroll and training company, became a wholly owned venture of KFSA.

  • 2019

    KFSA undergoes a name change and rebrand to further ensure growth for the future as a cooperative and insurance agency.
