PRESIDENT & CEO
Mitch Williams has served as President of ProValue since April 2012. Mr. Williams has an extensive and prosperous career in leadership, with a record of cooperative and independent agribusiness management experience at companies including Cargill Inc., Koch Industries, Garden City Cooperative, and Ag Partners Cooperative Inc.
Mr. Williams attended the Oklahoma Panhandle State University where he obtained his bachelor of science degree in business administration. He currently serves on the board of directors for multiple industry associations
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)
Scott Anderson joined ProValue in 1991, serving in the Risk Management department while concurrently managing Ag Services LLC. Presently, Mr. Anderson oversees company-wide operations while providing strategic direction in operational processes and procedures in his role as the Chief Operations Officer.
Hailing from Abilene, Kan., Anderson graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor's degree in management and business administration. Mr. Anderson holds professional designations from the Insurance Institute of America and the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)
Shawnda Hembree was named Chief Financial Officer in October of 2018. Prior to her current position, Mrs. Hembree spent four years as the Controller of Accounting within the ProValue company. Her experience includes financial leadership positions with Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Dillon Companies Inc., Hugoton Energy Corporation, and Pierce, Faris and Company Chartered.
As Chief Financial Officer, Hembree has responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company and other affiliated or contracted companies.
Ms. Hembree graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting, and passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination shortly afterward.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF INSURANCE
Lee Gleason serves as the Executive Vice President of Insurance for ProValue Insurance. Prior to transitioning into his current role, Mr. Gleason served as a commercial accounts manager from 2002 until 2005, when he was chosen to serve as General Manager of Elliot Insurance after its acquisition by ProValue. In 2007, Mr. Gleason received his Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist designation.
Mr. Gleason graduated from Hutchinson Community College and Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Okla., before starting his career in agribusiness and insurance sales.
Gleason is a member of the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce, Hutchinson AMBUCS and serves on multiple boards including the board for the Training and Evaluation Center of Hutchinson (TECH), Interfaith Housing, and Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA).
CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (CHRO)
Sara Kepley has spent nearly two decades as a human resource executive and consultant in the heart of America. She is a trusted advisor to many CEO’s and other leaders within the agriculture and insurance space.
Ms. Kepley has been a part of a ProValue Insurance-affiliated company since 2005. She served as a Human Resources Specialist for the Human Resource Alliance, LLC (HRA) until 2007 when the company was acquired by ProValue LLC. She then joined the human resources team, serving first as a Human Resources Consultant, then as CEO for ProValue LLC.
Today Kepley leads a team operating human resource consulting services, internal HR, group benefit insurance sales, and marketing and branding efforts for all of ProValue Insurance. She personally performs CEO placement services, succession planning, and executive compensation plans for agriculture companies and cooperatives.
Kepley graduated with a bachelor of science degree in human resource development from Southwestern College, Winfield, Kan. She holds the professional designation of SPHR from the Human Resource Certification Institute and a SHRM-SCP designation from the Society for Human Resource Management.
Kepley is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (nationally and locally) as well as the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives. She is also a member of the leadership committee planning and hosting DisruptHR Wichita.
