Risk Management Advisor | CoMark Equity Alliance, LLC (CEA)

CoMark Equity Alliance, LLC (CEA) is hiring for a Risk Management Advisor position based out of their Central and Eastern Kansas territory.  This position is responsible for contacting producers concerning grain marketing and risk management strategies, via branch contacts and customer lists and originating grain for Member/Owner Cooperatives utilizing elevator contracts, fee-based programs, and crop insurance strategies, to limit the risk to the producer’s operation.  Applications will be accepted until November 30, 2022.

Some of the Essential Functions include:

  • Work with merchandising staff, producers, and Member/Owner Cooperatives on producer marketing programs
  • Communicate market changes and opportunities with producer customers
  • Execute profitable crop insurance risk management strategies and structured farm marketing programs with producers
  • Work with member-owner cooperative Location Managers to develop a patron list to target sales calls
  • Work to develop relationships with new and existing customers
  • Maintain an account tracking system for current and prospective customers
  • Work well independently with minimum supervision
  • Provide excellent service after the sale
  • Maintain knowledge of government regulations that affect position
  • Exhibit excellent computer and data entry skills
  • React in a positive and productive manner to change
  • Promote company, member and employee cohesiveness through effective communication, teamwork, and shared services
  • Effectively communicate by verbal and written means with customers, employees, and management

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or agriculture from four-year college or university; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training in grain industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Series 3 license (must obtain), and Oklahoma & Kansas crop insurance license (must obtain)
