Grain Merchandiser | Flagler Coop Association

The Flagler Cooperative Association, headquartered in Flagler, Colorado, is searching for a Grain Merchandiser. Candidates considered for this position must possess a strong background with merchandising grain including pricing, purchasing, contracts, and settlements including but not limited to scheduling and logistics; inventory quality control and management; risk management; and accurate recordkeeping. The Flagler Cooperative Association is a proud cooperative, steeped in a rich history in rural eastern Colorado. Position Requirements and Qualifications:

• A college degree is preferred in a related field
• 4-6 years of grain industry experience is required 
• Knowledge of grain industry practices, terminology and settlement processes is favorable
• Strong organizational and communications skills (both verbal and written) are required
• Preferred background in grain operations and/or grain merchandising.
• Prioritizes the level of service provided to our customers
• Understands and promotes the benefits of a Cooperative
• Collaborates across departments and locations

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range is $60,000 -$100,000 annually with full benefits including Coop retirement.  Bonus eligibility is based upon Cooperative profits up to 10% of salary.
