Hedge Desk | CoMark Equity Alliance (CEA)

CoMark Equity Alliance, LLC (CEA) is hiring for a Hedge Desk position based out of either Cheney, KS or Enid, OK.  This position is responsible for the daily operation of CoMark Equity Alliance’s grain hedging policy. Aplications will be accepted until February 3, 2023.

Some of the Essential Functions include:

  • Promptly and efficiently placing buy and sell orders on the Electronic Board of Trade platform and managing open orders within the system;
  • Assist Grain merchandisers with sales contracts and position balances;
  • Enter grain hedge activity in CEA’s current software system;
  • Generate documentation for local and feed mill sales;
  • Assist with updating and analyzing several daily excel sheets;
  • Assist branch personnel or customers in all matters relating to offers for sale and purchase contracts (orders, fills, cancellations, changes, buyouts, rolls);
  • Monitor current market conditions daily;
  • Assist in educating members on the CEA Offer Sheet and the CEA App;
  • Provide excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; respond promptly to customer needs, resolve questions, complaints and concerns immediately and meet commitments;

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or agriculture from four-year college or university; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training in grain industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Series 3 License (or comparable knowledge base).
