A Day in the Life:

As the Operations Administrative Assistant, a typical day includes working on a variety of different projects to assist the operations and management staff. The Operations Administrative Assistant’s primary focus will be on the agencies’ internal property Statement of Values/Mapping program along with creating/assisting with New Business presentation documents. In addition, this position may be asked to assist with handling other administrative tasks. This position requires the employee to be able to edit, correct and create Word documents, PowerPoint presentation slides, Excel files, and utilize our agency management system.

This position reports to the Vice-President of Operations.

What You Will Need to Do This Job:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of direct customer service experience. required or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Employee should conduct business in an ethical manner and be a person of the highest integrity and honesty.
  • Very dependable with a high sense of urgency.
  • Detail-oriented and focused on accuracy.
  • Quality data entry and the ability to use and understand technology including a computer, smart phone, tablet and various software programs and apps.
  • Have moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Diligently maintain the Agency Management System’s integrity.
  • This position works in an office environment but is occasionally exposed to outdoor conditions or other locations. Lengthy periods of sitting, standing and computer work are required. The ability to speak, hear, and type is also required. You will regularly lift 20 pounds or less.
  • This position will also be required to perform other duties as assigned by management.
