Chief Financial Officer | American Plains Coop
American Plains Coop located in Great Bend, Kansas is hiring a Chief Financial Officer. This position has the primary day-to-day responsibility of planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the cooperative. This is an exempt/salaried status position located in Great Bend, KS, with a competetive pay and benefits package.
- Directly responsible for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, deal analysis and negotiations, compliance, and investor relationships and partnership.
- This position has supervisory responsibilities, which includes supervising employees and entails carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university required.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License
