Agronomy Manager | Farmers Cooperative Equity Company

As the Agronomy Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative agronomic programs tailored to our region's soil conditions and crop varieties. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert guidance and recommendations on crop production, soil management, and sustainable agricultural practices
  • Leading and mentoring the agronomy team, fostering their professional growth
  • Analyzing data and market trends to optimize crop inputs and maximize profitability.
  • Overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and sales of crop inputs (fertilizers, seeds, chemicals)
  • Building strong relationships with growers, understanding their unique needs, and offering personalized solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field
  • Custom Applicator’s License (1-A)
  • Commercial Driver’s License required
  • Certified Crop Advisor
