Feed Mill Manager | Seibert Equity Coop Association

The Seibert Equity Cooperative Association, located in Seibert, Colorado, is searching for a Feed Mill Manager. 

Position Details:

The Feed Mill Manager is responsible for the Feed Department of Seibert Equity Cooperative including providing quality products and services to the member/customers.  Responsible for the supervision of the feed operational and sales personnel and playing a key role in the hiring of employees and the review of work performance for the employees being supervised.  Responsible for repair and maintenance of feed mill equipment, feed trucks, and feed warehouses.  Responsible for providing competitively priced products and services while generating a positive financial return from the feed department to the company-wide bottom line. 

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university and/or at least 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
• Solid understanding of business practices and leadership, feed mill operations, and feed mill maintenance required
• Strong background in agriculture 
• Strong organizational and communications skills
• Prioritizes the level of service provided to our customers
• Understands and promotes the benefits of a Cooperative
• Valid driver's license required.  Class A or B CDL preferred (or ability to obtain if needed).
• Must be able to work in an office environment as well as outside in the operations of the company.  Occassionally exposed to outdoor conditions, grain dust, chemicals, and/or moving mechanical parts.  Must be able to lift/move 50-100 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 to $125,000 depending on experience.  This is a full time position with benefits including Coop retirement.  Bonus eligibility is based upon Cooperative profits.
